Current Cost IAM Individual Appliance Monitor

Current Cost are the first manufacturer to incorporate the facility to monitor up to nine individual appliances through a single display unit and view this data either on-screen or with a PC using the optional data cable and software; they can be used to accurately track the cost of running any household appliance with a standard three pin plug.

These IAMs work in conjunction with the Current Cost CC128 and TREC wireless electricity monitors to provide monitoring of individual sockets and appliances.  Both the CC128 and TREC monitors can display and record the electricity use data from up to nine separate IAM units.  Setting up of the IAM to work with your existing Current Cost monitor is quick and easy.

These IAMs enable your Current Cost monitor to assess the consumption of separate appliances over time, for example, an older fridge/freezer which may be using far more power than the energy label suggests.  You might also wish to monitor the collective consumption for a group of appliances connected via a multi-way power strip e.g. a home cinema system.
