Series 8 of Dragons Den starts next week, the programme in which budding entrepreneurs get three minutes to pitch their business ideas to five multi-millionaires willing to invest their own cash. As ever, we at Smarter Products shall be on the lookout for the best new inventions, ideas and products. Some will be in their infancy, others ready to go, but either way Dragons Den always causes great debates over our morning coffee, not to mention real excitement when we see that amazing new product that we feel fits right in with the 'Smarter' range. The Dragons (in this series: Duncan Bannatyne, James Caan, Deborah Meaden, Peter Jones and Theo Paphitis) can sometimes give the entrepreneurs a rough ride; remember when Trunki took a battering in Series 3?  But just look at them now... Trunki is a world wide phenomenon that no self respecting child would travel without! So the Dragons aren't always right but pretty much always interesting and entertaining and the Dragons Den gives us plenty of food for thought.
