At the age of around one year most children become determined to feed themselves. This is a frustrating time for babies and toddlers, as their motor coordination is not yet fully developed and their attention span is short. They have the desire to self-feed but don't necessarily have the ability to do it. Result? Hungry, frustrated toddler, lots of mess and stressful mealtimes! The Me Feed Me range was developed by Salmon Luke to deal with this problem, an ingenious triangle-shaped bowl so that food can be pushed into a corner and picked up more easily. Ergonomically designed soft grip forks and spoons help this process along; with a little practise it won't be long before babies are able to feed themselves. Of course, it may still be messy, but they will be happy and will feel a big sense of achievement!
