Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Solo, Maestro, Electron and Delta. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Back ordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.

When you receive 'confirmation of order' via email, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling
UK Mainland (excluding Scottish Highlands):
Free Delivery 2/3 days - No Delivery Charge (applicable to products displaying the 'Free Delivery' option only)
Standard Delivery 2/3 Days; Delivery Charges start at just £2.50 inc. vat, costs are displayed in the Basket and at Checkout at all times.
Next Working Day Delivery (Mon to Fri), ordered prior to 12.00: Delivery charges start at just £9.95 inc. vat. This option can be selected after accepting the Basket, and proceeding through the Checkout process.

UK Offshore, Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland:
Standard Delivery 2/3 Days; Delivery Charges start at just £2.50 inc. vat, costs are displayed in the Basket and at Checkout at all times.
Next Working Day Delivery (Mon to Fri), ordered prior to 12.00: Delivery charges start at just £9.95 inc. vat. This option can be selected after accepting the Basket, and proceeding through the Checkout process.

Outside UK, within Europe:
Standard Delivery 2-7 Days (depending on destination); Delivery Charges start at just £21.50 inc. vat. This option can be selected after accepting the Basket, and proceeding through the Checkout process.

Outside UK, outside Europe:
Please enquire for prices and delivery times as they will be location specific and the transaction will require additional documentation.

Please note the following when you select one of the delivery options:
1. All costs exclude VAT;
2. Delivery schedules are subject to weather and operating factors;
3. Orders will be processed as requested provided all items are in stock and all security checks have been passed.
Delivery Schedule
We always aim to deliver your order as soon as possible. Whilst we endeavour to ensure that deliveries arrive within the timescales chosen, there will always be the chance that the unexpected can happen. On these rare occasions, we will do all we can to rectify the situation as much as is in our control, keeping customer satisfaction as our numbner one priority.

Unless otherwise stated, generally orders will be dispatched within 1-2 working days. In the event of an item being out of stock we will contact you with a date of dispatch or suggest an alternative.

You should allow 1 to 3 working days from date of dispatch for items to be delivered. In most cases however, you should receive your parcel the next working day after you receive your dispatch email.

Orders for bespoke items can take 7 to 10 working days for assembly.

The availability of a product shown on this website is an estimated delivery schedule, and therefore must only be used as a guide. When your order is acknowledged you will receive email notification of the expected delivery date(s) of the item(s) ordered.

If the order is urgent or you require special requirements please email us prior to placing an order at sales@smarterproducts.co.uk to check that we can meet your request.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, all credit card details are handled by our payment processing partner; PROTX. You will be transferred to their secure site and credit card numbers will be encrypted using 128 bit encryption.They are not held in clear text on any web site. Smarter Products is a brand name of Smarter UK and as such, Smarter UK will appear on all your receipts and statements.

Returns Policy
We will offer a refund or exchange on any undamaged item, returned in their entirety, within 14 days of receipt of goods.

If you return an item that the Company agrees is faulty, we will include with your refund the postage that you were charged when purchasing the item, and the postage you paid when returning the item to us by registered post (this does not affect you statutory rights).

If you are returning an item because it is unsuitable, we will only refund the cost of the returned item, and you will be liable for the postage you paid when returning the item to us. If the item is sold with 'free delivery'or 'delivery included' there will be a handling charge to cover adminsitration. Refunds will only be made to the card used to purchase the items.

Please package your item safely and securely to avoid damage in transit. Please note Smarter Products is unable to accept any item for refund or exchange if it has been damaged in transit.

Send your package to: Returns Dept, SmarterProducts, Smarter (UK), Garaway House, Chantry Road, Bristol BS8 2QF, UK. We recommend that you send it Recorded or Special delivery as Smarter Products will be unable to refund or exchange items that have been lost in transit. (Please inform us that you are returning the item to us prior to despatch via email at sales@smarterproducts.co.uk. We cannot be liable for the loss of items that we aren't expecting)

ORDER CANCELLATIONS
Occasionally, orders or part of an order are cancelled by our system for various reasons. Some reasons are:

Item(s) not available
Difficulty in processing payment information
Cannot ship to address provided
A duplicate order was placed
Cancelled due to customer request

If your order is cancelled, you will receive an email notice to explain the reason for the cancellation. You will not be billed for any cancelled items. If you are interested in placing a new order or if you have questions about a cancelled order, please e-mail us at sales@smarterproducts.co.uk
