Philips Master Line Energy Saving Lamps Energy saving, low voltage halogen reflector lamps of the Master collection, with dichroic reflector and infra red coated double-ended burner
MASTER dichroic coated low-voltage halogen reflector lamp with EcoBoost technology... the most energy-efficient dichroic lamp on the market
With low energy lighting for the home and office soon to become the norm, the Philips Master Line ES range offers a high quality and cost effective solution.
Halogen light is distinguished by its brilliance. It provides contrast rich and lively illumination of spaces and promotes active and creative work. Under halogen lighting colours seem fresher, highly-reflective objects of chromium, crystal and silver radiate a particularly attractive sheen.
The many available types of lamps offer the freedom to set your creativity free for individual lighting solutions that aim not only at the functional use of space but also cater for the human need for visual comfort and pleasing ambience. The lamps provide widespread, soft, shadow-free illumination or sharply-defined, narrow beams. Compared with incandescent lamps, halogen lamps have a higher colour temperature.
They have a longer lifetime than standard incandescent lamps, give more light for the same power and, thanks to the halogen cycle process, preserve the light quality during the whole of their working life. With the Philips Masterline range the lamp life is 5000 hours compared to most other low voltage halogen lamps which have a lamp life of around 2000 hours. Halogen lamps can be dimmed so that the lighting level can be adjusted to every need.
The special benefits of the low voltage halogen lamps are compactness, the good light angle and the possibility of making small, more attractive lighting fixtures for use in many applications. Low-voltage halogen lamps are available with or without reflector. For many applications there are low-voltage halogen reflector lamps with cool-light dichroic mirror. With these lamps up to 66% of the heat generated is reflected back by the infrared-translucent mirror reflectors so that the illuminated object is subjected to much less heat. These lamps have an even fresher, whiter light (colour temperature up to 3200K). The 'mother of pearl' effect of the reflector provides a beautiful, additional design element.
Specifications
