History
The B-Tidy Home and Garden Workstation was designed by Barbara Fraitis and Peter Blackburn out of a need to find a product that would solve two of the most common problems that gardeners experience:
Keeping a refuse bag open and upright whilst filling it and keeping tools together so that they don't get lost around the garden.
Barbara and Peter are first and foremost gardeners rather than inventors. The B-tidy has been developed with the assistance of Wales Innovators Network of which Barbara and Peter are members. Their product was exhibited at the Geneva Inventors and New Products Exhibition in April 2006, at which they were awarded a Bronze Medal in their category.
The product started life as a simple frame that had been discarded from another item. It did the job of keeping open a refuse bag, but obviously needed to be refined in terms of design and materials used. It was the start of the concept of the B-tidy and after many months of building prototypes and using them in their garden, the B-Tidy Home and Garden Workstation was developed.
The B-tidy has been manufactured to the highest of standards. Materials used are strong, robust and will withstand the rigours of climate changes.
